Maintain healthy XML Sitemaps
Using an XML Sitemap is the most straightforward way to communicate to search engines which URLs you want them to crawl and index. It is therefore extremely important that your sitemaps remain healthy, accurate and up to date. Sitebulb will pick out all the ‘dirt’ from your sitemaps, such as 404s, redirects and noindexed URLs. It will also help you dig into more peculiar issues, such as pages that were not found in the crawl, but are listed in a sitemap.
Quickly spot the really big problems
Sitebulb makes it easy to find the big problems with your sitemaps – such as URLs that were only found in sitemaps (and not in the crawl), or URLs in sitemaps that are not even indexable.
Find and fix all the sitemap ‘dirt’
Search engines only want to see clean URLs in your sitemaps; that is, indexable URLs that return a status 200. Use Sitebulb’s clear data tables to check exactly where all the dirt is hiding.
Check indexation rates through Google Search Console integration
Sitebulb connects to your Google Search Console account via API, and pulls back your most important sitemap data, including warnings, errors and submission dates. You can also compare indexation ratios for each sitemap to see if any are falling short.
